Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Rajinikanth will be in Dhoom 3 project: John Abraham on a bike, Hrithik Roshan on skates- Remember the gravity-defying, action-packed thrilling editions of Dhoom and Dhoom 2? The latter is also known for the 1st and the last liplock of Aishwarya Rai (Hrithik was the lucky guy).

Well! Ever since the tabloid found wings, the buzz around Dhoom 3 has been immense and false reports have been flying from desktop to desktop.

It was speculated that Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan will be playing the baddie in the 3rd edition of this Yash Raj franchisee. In fact, some reports had even sewn down the script and Aamir was already thrust into a negative shade.

It was also whispered that Shahrukh Khan may play the cop and this film would, for the first time, bring Aamir and SRK under one roof. And now the grapevine has it that ‘Robot’  aka ‘Endhiran’ actor Rajinikanth has been approached by the producers of Dhoom 3.

The news had most of Rajini devotees go berserk with excitement (after all, Rajini is nothing lesser than God in some parts). But Yash Raj team has dismissed such reports and have stated that he hasn’t been approached and no casting or scripting has yet been done.

So, it would appear that in these fables spun around Dhoom 3, Aamir and Shahrukh and Rajinikanth have been merely wrapped together by the deft rumour mills.

Lord Rajinikanth to inspired by Lord Krishna: Can it be more befitting for a star of Rajinikanth’s status to play a character that saves the world from ruin?

Yes, the mega star of Tamil cinema, who has temples built to his name and legions of fans who worship him, is set to play a character inspired by lord Krishna in daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth’s production titled Hara.

The movie, to be made in 3D format, was previously titled Sultan - The Warrior. But after the super duper success of Endhiran (Robot) it has been revamped, rechristened and bettered into a bigger film than it was earlier intended to be.

The film will have a period look and Rajinikanth will play an armour-clad warrior who saves the world from apocalyptic destruction.

Needless to say it will have action and stunts galore, all highlighting Rajini’s inimitable style.

Even at 60, Rajini sir is indefatigable.

Vidya Balan with Rajinikanth for next: The buzz in the industry is that Vidya Balan is being considered for a plum role opposite the south mega star Rajinikanth in the film Hara.

Now, who wouldn’t like to work with Rajini sir whose latest film Endhiran has written box office history. Of course, the 60-year-old superstar is in no mood to hang his boots and will now get busy with his next film Hara.

Rumour has it that Vidya’s name is on the top of the list to be Rajini’s ladylove in the film. Contrary to the popular notion that Vidya is not open to working in south cinema, the lady is pretty much excited about the chance to work with Rajinikanth. In fact, working in a Tamil and a Malayalam film has been on Vidya’s wishlist for quite some time.

And what better than a film with Rajinikanth?

Shahrukh Khan's 'Ra. One' to copy Rajinikanth?: It may be a coincidence but his detractors would call it plagiarism. Shahrukh Khan stands the risk of being accused of copying none other than the south mega star Rajinikanth.

A chase sequence shot atop a train in Ra.One has startling similarity to the sequence in Endhiran The Robot when Rajini runs laterally on a moving train to save his ladylove from goons. Since the fans have enjoyed the chase sequence in Robot a lot, there are going to be obvious comparisons, and probably accusations of plagiarism, when they see SRK doing the same in Ra.One.

Further, the allegations would get credibility given the fact that director Shankar had first approached SRK for Robot and had even discussed the film in detail.

To avoid such allegations, SRK has given clear instructions to the creative team to make the chase sequence on the train in Ra.One as different as can be from the one in Robot.

But would SRK be able to outshine, if not match, Rajinikanth’s style?

Now, that would be interesting to see!

Rajini is like a God for his fans: His ardent fans may have built temples in his name, but south mega star Rajinikanth remains a humble soul who doesn’t like being referred to as a God.

So when he saw the promo of the Hindi film Khichdi - The Movie in which he’s being compared to the Divinity, Rajini wasn’t pleased and asked his assistant to inquire about the use of his name in the promos.

J D Majethia, the producer of Khichdi was contacted by Rajini’s assistant in this regard. The producer told the superstar’s assistant that Rajini’s name has been used not in a derogatory sense. He said that the characters in Khichdi are so dim-witted that they think that Rajinikanth is the real God.

Though the issue is not being pursued by Rajinikanth, he clearly doesn’t enjoy being called a ‘God’.

Well, it’s this humility that makes him a rage among the masses.

Rajinikanth in Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC4: It’s not only Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday today but also the launch of his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 4.
The star is back in the show after a span of six years and the makers of ‘KBC 4’ are leaving no stone unturned to make it big and grand.

The south superstar and Big B’s good friend Rajinikanth is expected to attend the first gala episode.

Along with Big B’s family and Rajini, Indian cricket team’s skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will also attend the first episode of India’s most celebrated game show. As per reports, the show will open with a song composed by Vishal-Shekhar and choreographed by Shiamak Davar. His dance troupe is especially in Mumbai for the performance. Big B will also dance to the tune of Pag-e-Ghungroo from his superhit film Namak Halal.

The show will start with Amitabh reciting a few lines from his legendary father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem. He will make a grand entry from a 24-foot-tall structure which is in the form of a giant ‘A’.

A special set is erected at the Yash Raj Studios by the ace set designer Nitin Desai for the shoot of first episode.
